Division: Administration

Functions:

  • To comply and interpret Public Service Act, PSSR, Regulations.
  • To ensure uniformity, efficiency and effective conducting of Human Resource matters.
  • Determine deviations from current policies and submit proposals to office of the Prime Minister.
  • Obtain Authority for e.g. appointments, etc
  • Interpretation and Application of ,Public Service Regulations etc
  • Execution of prescribed intensive and efficient functioning of financial administration.
  • To ensure the appropriate utilization of financial resources for the delivery of services
  • To develop, implement, maintain and evaluate, and review of policies.
  • To ensure the creation of training facilities; identification of training needs, administration of training and promotion of functional/ in-service training, presentation of training courses research and updating of training materials techniques and aids, evaluation of training results and rendering of advice on training.
  • To ensure adequate Audit of systems and the proper safe guarding of assets.
  • To develop, implement monitor and evaluate policies.
  • To provide transport service.
  • To provide media liaison services for the Ministry and the public at large.
